The Gulch
Nashville’s historic Gulch District, with its distinct industrial history, originally housed the downtown railroad terminal. From the turn of the century until the 1950s, more than 100 trains arrived and departed from The Gulch daily. Today, the Gulch District has developed into a hotspot for young urbanites. The Gulch has perfectly combined its industrial background with a modern contemporary style. Old warehouses have been renovated into residential and office space, and upscale restaurants and a vibrant nightlife have made The Gulch one of the hottest neighborhoods in Nashville and is highly recommended for their culinary delights. Don't miss Colts Chocolates if you go!

Germantown
One of Nashville’s historic neighborhoods is bringing people closer to town to live and play. Germantown, so named because of the influx of German immigrants in the mid-nineteenth century, was Nashville’s first suburb. The district is one of Nashville’s most architecturally heterogeneous neighborhoods, containing a significant concentration of Victorian building styles. It has been designated as a city Arboretum by the Nashville Tree Foundation because there are more than 100 species of trees in the area. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979, the neighborhood is now being restored to its original grandeur. An area that sports some of Nashville’s most desirable homes, Green Hills also has its fair share of exciting destinations for a night out. Many locals flock to the area to fulfill their shopping needs. Green Hills is also home to The Bluebird Cafe where guests can experience an "in the round" show. Marathon Village
Marathon Village, a unique neighborhood of sorts that has become quite a Nashville hotspot, is made up of a group of 100-year-old warehouse buildings which was originally where the Marathon, a car made in the early 1900s, was built. The buildings sat vacant for decades before a gentleman named Barry Walker purchased the buildings in the mid-80s with a vision of making it “Nashville’s Creative Neighborhood.” Fast forward to today, and it has become just that. Barry rents the space out to creative companies with the belief that creative minds feed off each other. It’s become a complex for artists’, photographers’, and designers’ studios.
